He is doing something for good...

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Well...all we know is God is doing something good. We surely cannot see it and have no idea why we are in this situation...but God is doing something for the glory of His kingdom.

I failed my RD exam for the second time today with the same lovely score of 24. Just one point away from passing...again. I have no idea whether to scream, yell, cry, laugh, go work-out, eat, or just be. I am emotionless right now. We are extremely upset.

I guess the worst part out of all of this is why...? Why is this happening? How can I feel like I have passed a test with flying colors to fail again? How can one test of random questions determine whether or not you can practice as a Dietitian?

Please pray for Clint and me to have a sense of peace and for God to reveal His plan and explanation for all of this. Please pray for me to jump back on the wagon immediately to start studying to take it in another 40 days from today. Please just pray for us.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a really awesome Thanksgiving this year. Due to the fact that I had to study so much and Clint and I had to work, we stayed home and had our best friend's CJ and Ashley come from Wednesday-Sunday. It was really fun. Here are some pictures from our Holiday Week-Weekend.

Ashley's homemade pecan pie! I guess we forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food...we were too hungry by the time it was all ready!

Geaux Tigers!

It is the BIG day! Finally #1 LSU and #2 AL are playing today, Novemeber 5th at 7:00pm. First time in regular season that a #1 and #2 teams are playing! It is so exciting! And this is what arrived at our door step:

And this is what was inside:

What an awesome way to start our anxiety filled day!!! Purple and Gold flowers from Mr. Tracy (Clint's Step-Dad) and Mrs. Julie (Clint's Mom) They wrote a super sweet letter too, but for some reason the camera would not capture it!

...Clint has only checked ESPN for the 40th time this morning. He has seen every video, highlight, and report up to this point...and more! We are ready!! I have just slipped into my second LSU t-shirt of the day (No pictures this AM of this girl, or Addie...we are just not ready for our close-ups! he he). I spent my first 3 hours trying to find a purple cardigan to go with a super cute gold top! No luck! And we just had crawfish bisque for lunch!

To catch everyone up to speed: I started my job at Pierremont Healthcare Center on Tuesday, October 25th. It was a hard week trying to get readjusted to working and transitioning into a management role.

Our best friend, CJ Rachel's girlfriend, Ashley Price flew in this past Thursday and we all went to New Orleans for the weekend. It was a fun time to get to be with friends for the weekend.

This week was much easier with work. I have gotten into the swing of things and I'm feeling much more comfortable.

Everything is going great with Clint. Still working and chuggin' along!

Prayer Requests:
1. Brother-In-Law, Dustin's tumor. Recent scan showed no growth- Yay!
2. Me to pass my RD exam. I should be taking it in 2 weeks.
3. Friends marriage; they receive peace during this rough time.
4. Ashley's transition to her new job and new town to go smoothly.

Praises:
1. I have a job! Woohoo!
